This noteworthy event was graced by 40 representatives from embassies across 25 countries, including 18 ambassadors, and 29 members of the Diet, alongside numerous prominent figures and guests.

Press Conference Highlights

Before the festivities kicked off, a press conference was conducted where Kazushi Motoya, CEO and President of APA Group, shared the progress of their mid-term five-year plan, AIM5, after three years of operation. He expressed confidence in the company’s growth with record-high revenues of 226 billion yen and operating profit of 79.6 billion yen for the fiscal year ending November 2024. Both figures exceed AIM5's targets ahead of schedule, driven by a robust demand for inbound tourism. He additionally mentioned the strategy for further development in Japan, which includes converting to franchise operations and expanding into major cities while enhancing the overall quality of the APA brand through the renovation of existing hotels. An exciting international expansion is also on the horizon, with the establishment of a subsidiary in the United States and plans to build upon the success of the recently opened Coast Seattle Downtown Hotel by APA.

Takashi Motoya, Executive Director of APA Group, also took the stage to introduce his fourth book, 'The Unknown Business Management II: Choices of Heroes', highlighting their commitment to both business and literary activities, including essays and a scholarship program.
