During his tenure, Coach Fab played a crucial role in transforming SHP Football into a powerhouse. Under his leadership, the team enjoyed unprecedented success, marked by a league title, a Central Coast Section (CCS) championship, a NorCal championship, and, notably, the school's first State Championship in 2021. His commitment to excellence was evident to everyone who walked the sidelines with him.

One of the hallmarks of Coach Fab's coaching style was his calm demeanor and the high standards he maintained for his players. He was known for his ability to connect with each athlete on a personal level, deeply investing in their growth both on and off the field. Former player John Adrian Dioli, a lineman who graduated in 2022, shared, "Coach Fab had high standards and a clear way of getting his message across, but it always came from a place of care. He showed up every day to help us grow."

Mark Grieb, the current head coach of SHP Football, emphasized the profound influence Coach Fab had on the program. "He was a coach in every sense of the word.
