Experience the Vibrant Pixel Art of eBoy at MIYASHITA PARK
MIYASHITA PARK in Shibuya has long been a hub for pixel art enthusiasts, continually hosting innovative projects. Among these, the "sequence MIYASHITA PARK" initiative has been making waves since its establishment in 2023, collaborating with pixel artists to enhance visitors' experiences, whether they are hotel guests or café patrons.
This time, the legendary pixel artist group eBoy, known for their witty and colorful designs, will transform MIYASHITA PARK into a lively exhibition space showcasing their unique take on the area's colorful scenes. eBoy, with roots in Berlin and Los Angeles, has amassed a global fan base through their distinctive artistry. They are set to humorously illustrate the diverse landscapes of MIYASHITA PARK, creating an immersive experience for all who visit.
Beyond just visuals, the event, titled "e-People Exhibition by eBoy", will place a spotlight on the people who use MIYASHITA PARK, showcasing their daily lives in a captivating fashion. Artwork will be displayed at the VALLEY PARK STAND, highlighting the vibrant interactions among park-goers. Attendees can also collect exclusive original stickers, while supplies last.
In addition to the exhibit, eBoy will showcase 25 uniquely created scenes on a total of 42 digital signage displays throughout the RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK building. These installations promise to capture the essence of Shibuya as a place of energy, stories, and excitement, inviting visitors to enjoy a refreshing perspective on their everyday surroundings.
"Shibuya has always felt like a living mosaic to us — full of energy, stories, and encounters. With this project, we wanted to capture those everyday sparks of life at MIYASHITA PARK in pixel form, thereby allowing visitors to discover familiar moments from a new angle," said eBoy.
The exhibition details are as follows:
