In an exciting announcement, DHC Corporation, headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, has revealed the debut of its first-ever osechi, a traditional Japanese New Year dish. DHC aims to deliver an extraordinary culinary experience with two distinct offerings: the three-tiered “Kiwami” (極) and the one-tiered “Irodori” (彩), both packed with luxurious ingredients and original menu selections. Reservations will commence via the DHC online store starting August 28, 2026.

The “Kiwami” osechi is designed to impress with its elegant presentation and high-quality flavors. It includes traditional osechi favorites alongside gourmet items such as braised abalone, grilled fugu, char-grilled blackthroat seaperch, roast beef, and cooked red king crab, totaling an extravagant 46 dishes. To cater to smaller gatherings or as an elegant appetizer spread, the “Irodori” offers a variety of 24 dishes that encompass an assortment of Japanese and Western flavors.
Both osechi options incorporate DHC’s exclusive premium extra virgin olive oil, “Nunez de Prado,” enriching the overall taste and elevating the dining experience.

The regular price for the “Kiwami” is set at 35,640 yen (including tax), but customers can take advantage of the early price of 24,840 yen. For the “Irodori,” the regular price is 24,570 yen, with an early reservation price of just 13,770 yen.

Reservations for the osechi can be made from August 28 to December 10, 2026. Customers can select their preferred delivery date between December 28 and 30, 2026. All orders are delivered via frozen shipping at no extra charge, and thawing guidelines suggest leaving it in the refrigerator or a cool place for about 24 hours.
