Based in New York City, Ms. Jacobi will play a pivotal role in guiding alternative investment managers through the complexities of fundraising and strategic initiatives. Extensive Experience in Private Markets
With over 15 years of extensive experience in the private markets domain, Ms. Jacobi’s background includes a robust track record in private equity fundraising, GP seeding, and leverage financing. Prior to joining Oppenheimer, she held the position of Managing Director at Gatewood Capital Partners, a firm specializing in supporting emerging alternative asset managers. Her experience also spans renowned financial institutions, including Cebile Capital, VCP Advisors, and Jefferies Finance.
This new role at Oppenheimer will see Ms. Jacobi focusing on two primary areas: advising alternative investment managers on their fundraising strategies and also enhancing the firm's capacity to engage with institutional limited partners (LPs) in the U.S. This engagement is essential for expanding the firm’s reach and effectiveness within the competitive alternative asset class.
