Beko Achieves Top Global Sustainability Score for Seventh Year in a Row

Beko's Unmatched Commitment to Sustainability



For the seventh consecutive year, Beko, a global leader in home appliances, has attained the highest score of 86 out of 100 in the 2025 S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment for the durable goods sector. This recognition underscores Beko's unwavering commitment to sustainability, environmental performance, social responsibility, and governance.

Beko's journey toward sustainability has garnered significant achievements over the years, consistently reflecting its strategies and operational initiatives aimed at minimizing environmental impact. In 2024 alone, the company executed 332 energy efficiency projects, leading to a significant energy saving of about 60,000 gigajoules. Notably, renewable energy now constitutes 60% of the electricity consumption across Beko's industrial sites, with an increased renewable energy capacity of 90 MWc.

One of the standout initiatives includes the refurbishment of over 114,000 products, contributing to a circular economy. Additionally, water conservation projects have saved over 223,000 cubic meters of water, demonstrating Beko's commitment to minimizing resource use while maintaining operational excellence.

Beko's commitment to sustainability is encapsulated in its long-term climate strategy. The company aims to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across its entire value chain by 2050. To meet its short-term goals, Beko targets a 42% reduction in absolute emissions across Scope 1 and Scope 2, as well as Scope 3 emissions related to product usage by 2030, compared to a 2022 baseline. Long-term ambitions are set at a 90% reduction in absolute emissions by 2050.
