In a significant move to boost
perinatal mental health resources, Momcozy—an esteemed global name in maternal support—has announced a collaborative initiative with Postpartum Support International (PSI) to create a scholarship fund of $100,000. This fund aims to broaden access to professional training for healthcare providers specializing in perinatal mental health.
Funding Details and Accessibility
The newly established Momcozy × PSI Scholarship Fund will provide 50 U.S.-based healthcare professionals full scholarships covering 100% of the coursework and examination fees necessary for obtaining the Perinatal Mental Health Certification (PMH-C). A special emphasis will be placed on supporting midwives and nurses connected to the American College of Nurse-Midwives (ACNM), particularly clinicians working in communities where resources for maternal mental health are scarce.
This partnership underscores the commitment of both Momcozy and PSI to enhance the availability of trained professionals who can effectively address and support the mental health needs of parents before and after childbirth throughout the United States.
Empowering Healthcare Providers
