Free Soccer Event for Kids

On September 14, 2025, Tachikawa Athletic FC, a prominent futsal club based in Tachikawa, Tokyo, will host a free soccer event aimed at elementary school students, named the "Jogaspo x Tachikawa Athletic Football Festival". This exciting event will take place at the Dome Tachikawa Tachihi, featuring a soccer workshop and a special exhibition match.

Purpose of the Event

The main goal of this festival is to create an inclusive environment where all children can enjoy soccer and sports. Hiroki Ota, a former member of Japan's national soccer team, started this initiative under the name JOGASPO, hoping to bring happiness to many children and their families.

In line with Tachikawa Athletic FC’s philosophy of "bringing big dreams and small joys to life through sports," the festival aims to merge these two visions, allowing as many children as possible to experience the joy of soccer and the camaraderie it brings. The aim is to provide children with memorable experiences that encourage them to think, "Soccer is fun! I want to play again!", regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances.
