Musashino Art University, located in Kojima City, Tokyo, is thrilled to announce the final presentation event for the MAU SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD 2025, scheduled for August 24, 2025. This prestigious award recognizes the creative and impactful business ideas conceived by students within the innovative framework of the university's entrepreneurship support initiative, known as the Musashino Art University Experimental Zone.

About the Musashino Art University Experimental Zone

The Musashino Art University Experimental Zone provides a unique platform that connects creativity with business acumen. It aims to foster collaborative innovation between students of various disciplines—including those from different universities and even working professionals—by leveraging the creative skills and mindset of Musashino Art University students. The program is designed to stimulate dialogue and interactions among individuals from diverse backgrounds, ultimately striving to implement new business ideas that have a concrete social impact.

This initiative champions a specific ethos that combines craftsmanship and entrepreneurship. These students are not just creators; they are driven by a desire to contribute to society through excellent craftsmanship and an entrepreneurial spirit that seeks real-world applications for their ideas.

Overview of the MAU SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD 2025

In its second year, the MAU SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD 2025 has drawn participation from 68 individuals, including students from Musashino Art University, other universities, and even high school students. After an initial round of document screening, 12 finalist teams emerged to present their ideas in the final showcase. Since early June, these teams have engaged in workshops, utilizing mentorship from experienced managers, with the aim of refining their projects and preparing them for the final event.

The finalists will showcase their innovative ideas during the final presentation on August 24, 2025, where awards including the Grand Prix and the Runner-Up will be awarded, along with special prizes from participating companies.
