Tsunagu Group Hosts Second Award Ceremony for Global Scholarship in Asia Supporting Students

Tsunagu Group's Commitment to Education in Asia

On November 14, 2025, Tsunagu Group Holdings, located in Chuo, Tokyo, held the second award ceremony for its Tsunagu Global Scholarship at CTECH College, a technical institution in Hanoi, Vietnam. This scholarship program aims to support students in Asia, particularly as the region experiences a substantial increase in its youth population starting from March 2024. The initiative helps outstanding students financially, fostering career development and promoting the active participation of foreign talents.

Background and Objectives

Japan is projected to face a labor supply and demand gap of approximately 5 billion hours annually by 2030. In this situation, utilizing domestic labor and leveraging foreign professionals has become essential. The rapid economic growth and population increase in Asia come with significant disparities in wealth, leading to unequal educational opportunities for many. Tsunagu Group launched the Tsunagu Global Scholarship to assist students struggling to continue their studies due to economic challenges, thereby contributing to the development of future foreign talent.

Going forward, Tsunagu Group aims to enhance recruitment efficiency and productivity initiatives within Japan while also actively developing projects to promote the employment of foreign professionals.

Highlights from the Scholarship Award Ceremony

For the second round of grants, Tsunagu Group selected CTECH College once again and awarded scholarships to 68 deserving students. CTECH, operated by Hai Phong Co., is one of the top five agencies in Vietnam specializing in education, training, and administrative collaboration, making it a reliable partner for this scholarship initiative.

The scholarship has received high praise from local educational institutions, governments, and media, significantly contributing to the attraction of talented students and boosting their motivation. This year, applications surged by 150% compared to the previous year, with average grades increasing from 8.6 to 9.1, reflecting a marked improvement in academic standards. Recipients are eager to delve deeper into their fields of study, aspiring to apply their knowledge and skills in Japan and their home countries.

Le Hoang Tuan

A Statement from CTECH College's President

Le Kim Dung, the president of CTECH College, expressed profound gratitude to Tsunagu Group for providing such impactful scholarship opportunities. He highlighted how the program not only reduces economic pressures on students but also enhances their motivation and commitment to social contributions, resulting in positive changes within the institution. As more students gain interest in Japan and its rich culture, the scholarship has spurred a desire for volunteerism and proactive engagement in societal contributions.

Future Prospects

Tsunagu Group plans to strengthen its support for foreign professionals and is committed to future scholarship cycles. Following the success of the second round, the third cycle will be introduced to prioritize students aspiring to work in Japan, especially as CTECH makes Japanese language studies a mandatory part of its curriculum.
