Joint Venture between SI Group and Shengxiao Group

This joint venture, named Shengnova Advanced Materials, was officially announced on June 26, 2026, and is poised to address the increasing demand for bisphenol in the Asia-Pacific region.

Situated in Sichuan, China, Shengnova Advanced Materials combines the established production capabilities of the Shengxiao Group with SI Group’s advanced technology and global expertise in bisphenol production. The synergy created through this partnership not only aims to improve local supply but also to cater to the rising demands from industries such as electronics, automotive, and healthcare, where high-performance materials are crucial for next-generation applications.

Guo Xiaozhong, the Chairman of Shengxiao Group, expressed optimism about the joint venture, emphasizing its role in supplying bisphenol to customers in Asia. He stated, “As a leading provider of monomers for liquid crystal polymers, bisphenol is a vital component of our portfolio. Our customers value local supply, and the addition of SI Group’s bisphenol expertise to China will benefit the growing end-markets in the region.”
