Magellan Health Appoints Dr. Steven E. Pratt as Chief Medical Officer

Before this appointment, Dr. Pratt served as Senior Medical Director of the Employer Segment at Magellan, where he oversaw clinical operations within a network of over 110,000 providers. He was previously instrumental as Vice President and Medical Director, encompassing responsibilities that included quality oversight and medical policy.

Dr. Pratt's experience extends back to his time as Executive Medical Director of Behavioral Health for the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and prior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group. His qualifications are underscored by his board certification in psychiatry, alongside earning both his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Minnesota.
