Magellan Health Appoints Dr. Steven E. Pratt as Chief Medical Officer

He was previously instrumental as Vice President and Medical Director, encompassing responsibilities that included quality oversight and medical policy.

Dr. Pratt's experience extends back to his time as Executive Medical Director of Behavioral Health for the Minnesota Department of Human Services, and prior leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group. His qualifications are underscored by his board certification in psychiatry, alongside earning both his Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Minnesota.
