Sharp Unveils a Suite of 18 Advanced MFPs for Enhanced Office Productivity

Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA) has recently introduced a new range of high-performance workgroup multifunction printers (MFPs), comprising 18 advanced models designed for contemporary office environments. This suite includes both color and monochrome printers with impressive speeds, ranging from 26 to 65 pages per minute, ensuring that businesses can meet their demanding output needs with efficiency and reliability.

Meeting the Demands of Evolving Workstyles

The recently launched Advanced and Essentials Series is built on a robust controller platform that addresses the dynamic challenges of today's workplace. As businesses evolve, so do their requirements for productivity and connectivity. The new models are equipped with a powerful chipset that integrates intelligent self-healing features, ensuring maximum uptime and performance, which are critical for maintaining smooth operation in busy office settings.

Enhanced Security Features

In today’s digital landscape, security is paramount. Sharp has raised the security bar with features like enhanced BIOS Integrity Check that includes backup recovery options. Moreover, the new End-of-Lease data erase method adheres to the guidelines set forth in NIST SP800-88, eulogizing Sharp's commitment to safeguarding sensitive information as businesses scale.

To further enhance the security framework, the MFPs also offer optional Bitdefender® antivirus software. This additional layer of protection allows organizations to fortify their defenses against cyber threats, addressing the ever-increasing concerns regarding data safety and integrity.

Optimized Productivity Features

Increasing workplace productivity was a primary focus in the development of these new MFPs. The re-engineered paper feed section allows for direct handling of a stack of COM10 envelopes in the standard paper tray, simplifying the printing process. Furthermore, the Advanced Series models feature AI-assisted scanning capabilities that enable speeds of up to 300 images per minute, significantly reducing turnaround times for document-related tasks.

Sharp has also integrated Dark Streak Detection with Auto Cleaning Fuser Mode, ensuring consistent image quality, which helps to maintain professionalism in business communications. Additionally, the seamless integration with Microsoft platforms and the support for native Entra ID authentication streamlines workflows by simplifying user access and authentication processes.

Mobile print capabilities have become essential in flexible work environments, and Sharp’s new series is equipped with Windows Protected Print mode along with the Sharp Print Support App, making mobile printing effortless. The inclusion of Synappx Manage, a cloud-based device management tool, further enhances serviceability and productivity, empowering organizations to transform their workplaces with ease.

Sustainability Commitment

As part of its commitment to corporate sustainability goals, the Advanced and Essentials Series MFPs are ENERGY STAR® 3.2 qualified and RoHS compliant. They feature low typical energy consumption (TEC) values, benefiting both users and the environment. Furthermore, Sharp has invested in creating models with 50% recycled plastic, reinforcing its pledge toward providing environmentally conscious solutions to its customers.

Conclusion

Dino Pagliarello, Vice President of Product Management and Production Print at Sharp, highlights the launch of these MFPs as a move towards delivering powerful document systems that cater to modern workplace needs. With attributes like AI-assisted scanning, serious security enhancements, and Microsoft integrations, these new MFPs are crafted to assist organizations in maximizing their productivity while confidently pursuing their long-term business objectives.

Available for order from October 2025, these innovative printers will be sold directly through Sharp or through authorized dealer channels, ensuring that organizations can easily access these cutting-edge solutions to elevate their operational efficacy.
