This powerful hardware foundation allows architects and engineers to perform their tasks with efficiency and precision, irrespective of their physical locations.

In an exclusive interview, Rakesh Carpenter, the Director of Information Technology at Cuhaci Peterson, elaborated on the transformative effects of this technology. He shared how prior to integrating the NVIDIA virtual GPUs, the firm was largely restricted to hiring talent within proximity to their physical offices. This limitation often left them at a disadvantage in finding specialized skills required for various projects.

Carpenter stated, “Now we can recruit specialized expertise nationwide. For instance, refrigeration engineers are in high demand in Orlando, and we've found excellent candidates in states like Kansas, the Carolinas, and Texas.”

Cuhaci Peterson has plans to further optimize its Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI). Carpenter revealed that the next iteration will focus on application optimization, ensuring that resources and software are allocated based on specific disciplinary needs. Previously, every user had access to the same resources, but now, the firm is transitioning towards a more tailored approach. “We are implementing discipline-specific resource allocation, so structural engineers, project architects, and other specialists only see the tools relevant to their work,” Carpenter continued, highlighting the strategic direction of the firm.
