However, C&R Corporation is turning these challenges into opportunities by launching the Construction Management Boot Camp for the April 2026 cohort. This program, led by ALFA PMC's President, Mr. Hidehito Kawahara, is designed to empower participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to transform the construction industry.

Since its inception in 2023, over 270 professionals have already benefited from this boot camp, gaining insight into essential management concepts that are critical in today's competitive environment. The course goes beyond traditional boundaries of design and construction, encouraging individuals to view themselves as "facilitators" who can drive entire projects forward, ultimately enhancing business success.

Key Features of the Construction Management Boot Camp


  • - Proven Success: Over 270 individuals trained since 2023, providing a wealth of knowledge and strategies that are essential for thriving in modern construction business.
  • - Facilitator Perspective: Participants learn to go beyond just design and execution, acquiring the perspective of a facilitator who can manage all aspects of a project.
  • - Intensive Learning: A structured 10-session program, comprising 30 hours of concentrated learning, aimed at transforming ambiguity into clear, actionable strategies.
  • - Common Language Skill: Attendees will master a "common language" to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, giving them the ability to discuss technical aspects as business resources.
  • - Holistic Approach: Graduates will move beyond the concept of building and moving on; they will learn how to integrate business and construction to become effective partners in project success.
  • - Alumni Community: Free participation in the “Alumni Community (After School)” where graduates can review course material and network with peers.
  • - Government Support: The course curriculum meets the qualification requirements for the Human Resource Development Subsidy issued by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, providing potential financial support for participants.

2026 Curriculum Overview


The curriculum consists of two parts spanning 10 sessions, conducted in the evenings from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The program includes:

Part 1: Capturing Opportunities from Societal Changes by 2030


  • - Focus: Understanding essential courses in construction business management, societal and economic trends impacting the industry, and employing these concepts effectively.
  • - Content: Future societal and economic trends, reconstruction of the construction value chain, business frameworks, etc.

Part 2: Committing to Business Success Beyond Just Building


  • - Focus: Merging management principles with practical construction strategies from planning and procurement to cost and timeline management.
  • - Content: Strategies for Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Property Real Estate (PRE), various procurement methods, management of design and construction, and cost management.

Enrollment Details


Interested participants can sign up for the upcoming cohort that begins on April 8, 2026, with sessions held weekly for three months. The course fee is 200,000 yen (exclusive of tax) for both parts, with an option to enroll individually in either part for 150,000 yen (exclusive of tax).

The classes can be attended either in-person or online, depending on the participant's preference.

Location: The sessions will be held at C&R Corporation’s main office seminar room in Minato, Tokyo.
