Sony Bank, under the leadership of President Keiichi Minami, has announced the launch of its innovative service called the Yen Rich Program starting from June 26, 2026. This program enables customers to enjoy an enhanced interest rate of up to 0.70% annually (0.557% after tax) on their yen ordinary deposit accounts, based on qualifying transactions.

The Yen Rich Program is designed to provide customers who meet specific conditions with an increased interest rate on their yen ordinary deposits. The additional interest will be credited monthly as a special bonus.
