The Legacy of the Scholarship Program
The
Mitchell-Beall-Rosen Memorial Scholarship was first established in
1983 in memory of Wilfred Mitchell. In 1991, it was renamed to also honor Donald Beall, both of whom were former NASA Federal Credit Union officials passionate about youth education. This initiative was later renamed in 2010 to pay tribute to Eugene D. Rosen, who contributed significantly to establishing the scholarship and dedicated
27 years of leadership to its growth. All three men are remembered for their unwavering commitment to nurturing the educational pursuits of young individuals.
