Alecia Dillon Receives Prestigious Award from University of Michigan Alumni

Alecia Dillon Recognized for Excellence in Community Health

The University of Michigan's Ross School of Business has bestowed its esteemed Graduate of the Last Decade (G.O.L.D.) Alumni Award upon Alecia Dillon, the Chief Financial Officer of the Health Foundation of South Florida. This recognition celebrates Dillon's exceptional leadership and unwavering commitment to enhancing community health, making a significant impact in the realm of health equity.

Dillon's journey with the Health Foundation began in 2021 when she took on the role of CFO. Since then, she has not only overseen the organization's endowment but has also transformed the finance department's traditional role. By aligning financial management with the Foundation’s mission to address health disparities, Dillon has been integral in advancing health equity across South Florida. Her commitment extends beyond her immediate region; she additionally serves on the board of I Demand Access, a nonprofit focused on uplifting marginalized communities globally, particularly women in Malawi.

In her multifaceted role within the Foundation, Dillon's responsibilities encompass not just finance but also human resources and IT. Furthermore, as Treasurer of the Florida Community Loan Fund, she manages capital investments aimed at assisting underserved communities throughout the state. Her extensive background includes over 15 years of experience in higher education, asset management, and nonprofit sectors, having held senior positions at notable organizations such as the Northern Arizona University Foundation and University of Michigan Athletics.

Dillon's educational background includes an Executive MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a BA from Grand Valley State University. Additionally, she holds a CPA license, marking her as a highly qualified leader in her field.
