Original Artwork Exhibition of 'Hamigaki Samurai'
A special exhibition showcasing the original illustrations of the beloved children’s book
Hamigaki Samurai will kick off at Bookhouse Cafe in Jimbocho, Tokyo, on July 30, 2025. This unique event is organized by Micro Magazine and will run until August 12.
In addition to the stunning artwork on display, visitors are invited to participate in an engaging reading session, lively dance, and exciting workshops featuring various activities related to the
Hamigaki Samurai theme on August 9 from 2 PM to 4 PM.
Join renowned picture book author Yasunori Kidani for an animated storytelling session of
Hamigaki Samurai. The afternoon will also include an original
Hamigaki Dance, led by Yu-chan, known for his creative moves. To top it off, attendees will have the opportunity to create their own
Hamigaki Samurai badges and the unique ‘Brush Maru’ as part of the workshops.
Entry is free, reservation is not required, and all are welcome to join in at any time!
