BTI Wireless Revolutionizes Mobile Network Solutions at MWC 2025

BTI Wireless, a frontrunner in wireless technology, showcased their game-changing solutions at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025, capturing the attention of industry leaders and attendees. The event, held in Barcelona, marked a pivotal moment where BTI revealed its advanced Distributed Antenna System (DAS) and Private Mobile Network solutions, specifically tailored to meet the growing demand for seamless connectivity in a 5G+ era.

The shift towards 5G technology is prompting mobile network operators (MNOs) to rethink their coverage strategies, especially in large venues. Traditionally, operators have shifted the cost burden of in-building coverage systems onto facility owners. In response to this challenge, BTI Wireless introduced innovative business models designed to support this investment. Their flagship platform, CrossFire™, integrates flexibility and performance, allowing operators to leverage a hybrid approach. This solution combines venue-financed DAS with independent private network capabilities, simplifying the deployment process.

Moreover, BTI has enhanced its platform by incorporating a native off-air signal capture capability, which expedites service delivery. The company is also collaborating extensively with leading RAN original equipment manufacturers to integrate eCPRI baseband connectivity. This innovative step enables a software-only transition from off-air signals to those utilized by ORAN and traditional base stations.

Ron Poulin, Vice President of Sales for North America at BTI Wireless, emphasized the significance of these product enhancements: "As pioneers in digital DAS, we have been consistently delivering multiband high-capacity solutions for some of the largest venues worldwide. These latest product innovations will not only accelerate ROI for enterprises but also facilitate the migration of mission-critical applications from WiFi to a more secure and robust private mobile network. Our off-air capabilities allow for immediate DAS implementation, alleviating pressure on MNOs to deploy dedicated capacity."

In addition to their DAS innovations, BTI Wireless introduced a new range of base stations at MWC 2025. This lineup includes high-performance distributed base stations powered by FlexRAN, as well as integrated base stations utilizing state-of-the-art chipsets. With improved carrier aggregation capabilities, the new BTI base stations deliver faster data speeds and broader coverage, adeptly fitting various deployment scenarios for 5G technology.

A major highlight of the event was the focus on the AI-RAN technology, which is gaining traction and demonstrating significant potential for advancement. AI-RAN stands as a cornerstone for upcoming 5G Advanced (5G-A) and 6G infrastructures, offering vast applications in autonomous driving, industrial automation, telemedicine, and smart homes. Ron Poulin noted, "AI-RAN is vital to our future, and our engineering teams are diligently pursuing plans to develop a next-generation product line that is smarter and easier to deploy and operate."

The revelations at MWC 2025 positioned BTI Wireless as a leader in the continuous evolution of mobile network solutions, setting the stage for future technological advancements. With its commitment to innovation and adaptability, BTI Wireless is poised to reshape the wireless landscape and enhance connectivity across various sectors, meeting the needs of the digital world head-on.
