Experience a Unique Shopping Space at the Newly Renewed Destination Tokyo Opening

Destination Tokyo Reopens in Shinjuku

On September 12, 2025, H.P. France will celebrate the grand reopening of its flagship select shop, Destination Tokyo, located within the Lumine Est Shinjuku department store. Originally opened in 2004, Destination Tokyo has consistently presented an eclectic mix of clothing, fashion accessories, jewelry, and lifestyle goods, effectively showcasing unique styles from Japan to the world.

The new store will prominently feature a complete line from the Berlin-based apparel brand ANNTIAN, along with an expansive section dedicated to the Japanese sneaker brand grounds. Moreover, this reopening marks the debut of several import brands, including the much-anticipated Caro Chia, which will introduce its creative clothing line to Japan on the very first day of the relaunch.

An Extraordinary Shopping Experience

The shop's interior draws inspiration from the iconic bedroom scene from Stanley Kubrick's science fiction film, 2001: A Space Odyssey. It fuses 18th-century French Neoclassical style with futuristic minimalism to create a modern industrial atmosphere. The remarkable juxtaposition of neoclassical wall panels and artworks paired with avant-garde metal fixtures conjures an aura of sophistication and creativity.

The fitting rooms will boast custom curtains designed by London-based IA LONDON, known for its artistic prints. This collaboration is particularly noteworthy as the brand will begin its initial offerings at Destination Tokyo in the winter of 2025.

The revamped space immerses visitors in a fantastical environment that feels like stepping into a scene from a movie, inviting exploration through vibrant designs and skilled craftsmanship. With a one-of-a-kind selection of avant-garde brands from both Japan and abroad, shoppers can dive deep into a world of fashion that inspires and challenges conventional norms.
