Collaborate for a Sustainable Future
The 15th edition of the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition has commenced registration for its 'AI + Construction Machinery' division, under the theme 'Green Intelligence for a Better World.' Organized collaboratively by XCMG, this event serves as an exciting platform for innovators, engineers, scientists, and tech enthusiasts to devise sustainable solutions for construction machinery.
A Launching Pad for Innovative Solutions
More than just a competition, this initiative functions as an incubator for problem-solving, transforming lab technologies into practical applications on construction sites. It facilitates sharing and collaboration among various stakeholders including universities in China and abroad, research institutions, global customers, supply chain partners, and technology firms.
The competition features three categories:
Professional Competition,
Co-creation with Client, and
Open Challenge.
Professional Competition Category
In the Professional Competition, participants are invited to submit AI-based solutions tailored for specific scenarios. This includes:
- - AI + Product: Focusing on innovative designs for machinery, humanoid intelligent architectures, and new energy digital-smart hardware ecosystems.
- - AI + Work Scenarios: Addressing autonomous operations, multi-machine coordination, and energy resupply models in fields such as mining, earthmoving, and agriculture.
- - AI + Operations: Involving AI agents for requirements analysis, document generation, and customer interaction.
Co-creation with Client
This segment targets urgent operational challenges in sectors like mining and agriculture, seeking innovative equipment packages, lifecycle maintenance, intelligent assistance, and even uncrewed operations. Participants can present practical solutions that aim to resolve these pressing issues.
Open Challenge Section
The Open Challenge emphasizes overcoming specific technical hurdles, including:
- - Autonomous excavation performance under challenging materials with at least a 95% task completion rate.
- - Multi-sensor fusion perception in dusty environments, achieving recognition accuracy of at least 97%.
- - Battery health assessment performance under high-demand conditions, ensuring the estimation error does not exceed 3%.
Organized by Key Industry Bodies
The competition is co-organized by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, along with several local government departments and associations in China. Notably, XCMG is significantly involved in the organization of this event.
Support for Participants
All participating projects receive comprehensive support that includes commercialization, funding opportunities, talent acquisition, and ongoing incubation, thus fast-tracking their progress from competition to market.
Registration is open until September 15, with project submissions due by September 25 (Beijing time). Interested parties can register via the China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition website or XCMG's official site.
This event stands as an excellent opportunity for fostering collaboration, enhancing technological capability, and driving innovation in the construction machinery industry. Join the movement towards a future where sustainable practices and advanced technologies redefine the landscape of construction and engineering.
