The design of the OZU lounge chair dates back to the mid-1980s. It represents the culmination of Magistretti’s creative visions and the meticulous preservation of original drawings at IXC. Their collaboration began through a shared passion for Japanese cinema and the work of legendary filmmaker Yasujiro Ozu, enriching the design narrative that now resonates through this modern iteration of the chair.
