This back-to-school season brings a unique opportunity for families to prioritize their health while also giving back to the community. From August 15 to 31, 2026, Amazon is partnering with the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) to launch a campaign that encourages shoppers to choose better-for-you food options. During this period, shoppers who buy $25 worth of select GOOD GOOD products will receive a $5 discount. In addition, a donation of $5 will be made to PHA by participating brands, aimed at expanding access to nutritious food for families in need.
The program is anchored in the belief that making healthier choices should be both affordable and effective. Families can easily participate by visiting
www.amazon.com/btsgood, where they will find a range of eligible products that carry the 'GOOD GOOD' label. This label is endorsed by PHA's registered dietitians and is further validated through the Guiding Stars nutrition rating system, which helps shoppers identify foods that meet healthy standards.
Among the participating brands are familiar names like WK Kellogg Co, offering products such as Frosted Mini Wheats, Raisin Bran, and Kashi; Bel Brands USA, featuring GoGo squeeZ and The Laughing Cow; as well as options from Amazon Grocery and 365 by Whole Foods Market. These brands have committed to collectively donating up to $525,000 to PHA, a contribution that is projected to provide over 5.5 million servings of nutritious food to families facing food insecurity.
Noreen Springstead, the President and CEO of PHA, highlights the significant impact of this initiative, stating, "As families prepare for the new school year, access to nutritious food is crucial for every child's success. This campaign not only puts healthy food on the tables of participating families but also aids neighbors struggling with food insecurity. By working together, we are showcasing the power of collaboration in nourishing millions of families."
Amazon's VP of Consumables, Sam Heyworth, adds that the company is dedicated to enhancing customers' lives through cost-saving measures while ensuring easy access to healthier food options. He emphasizes the shared commitment among participating brands to provide affordable nourishment and support PHA’s mission of making healthy choices easily available.
As consumers become more aware of their food choices, brands like Bel are stepping up to meet those needs. According to Peter McGuinness, CEO of Bel North America, "This campaign allows us to provide better snacking options that are not only wholesome but also contribute to the wellbeing of those in need."
The message of this initiative is clear: families have the power to make better health choices while simultaneously supporting those in their community who are less fortunate. By choosing GOOD GOOD products, customers are directly participating in a program that extends beyond mere shopping and ventures into community engagement and support.
In essence, the GOOD GOOD initiative spearheads a new marketplace framework that connects health-conscious consumers with socially responsible brands. This initiative prioritizes not only the benefits of nutritious food for individuals but also the broader societal impact of these choices.
