KPMG Japan Sponsors YUKA MEET&GREET 2026
KPMG Japan, under the leadership of Chairman Hiroyuki Yamada, has proudly sponsored the junior golf event 'YUKA MEET&GREET 2026.' This exciting event took place on August 5-6, 2026, at the esteemed Shizuhills Country Club in Ibaraki Prefecture.
Organized annually by the brand ambassador and professional golfer Yuka Sasou, the 'YUKA MEET&GREET' event aims to provide junior golfers with invaluable insights and experiences. Through her extensive competition history both domestically and internationally, Sasou has not only showcased her skills on the world's stage but also endeavors to share the knowledge she gained throughout her career with aspiring young golfers.
The mission of the event extends beyond technical proficiency in golf; it seeks to instill a spirit of perseverance and emphasize the importance of setting and working towards personal goals. During the two-day event, ten junior golfers, both boys and girls from grades 4 to 6, participated in various activities. This included golf clinics and an 18-hole round tournament, designed to both challenge and inspire young talents.
During the hands-on training, Sasou shared practical advice and her own journey, offering insights into the mindset required to compete at high levels. The participants were not only able to learn golf techniques from a world-class athlete but were also invited to understand her approach to challenges—a unique opportunity that many would remember as they continue their journeys in the sport.
In her remarks, Sasou expressed her joy in connecting with the junior golfers, saying, "I had so much fun interacting with all the junior golfers during this event. I have also accumulated plenty of experiences in my own junior years, growing with the support from many people. I hope what I shared can inspire new realisations and challenges for all of you. Always cherish the enjoyment of golf while continuing to tackle challenges in your unique way."
KPMG Japan reaffirms its commitment to social contribution through ongoing support for junior golfers, ensuring they receive growth opportunities. Through such initiatives, the company is dedicated to fostering the next generation of athletes and enhancing the landscape of golf and sports in Japan.
