About the Hyakuemu Anime

The film adaptation of Hyakuemu is based on the debut work of manga artist Uotani, known for his series Ch. - On Earth's Motion. It portrays the extreme passion and madness of those captivated by the fleeting moment of the 100m sprint. Following the story of two distinctive characters, Togashi—born with talent and a natural gift for speed—and Komiyama—an effort-oriented character who becomes enmeshed in the realm of athletics thanks to his encounter with Togashi. The film depicts their journey towards a decisive final race.

Featuring dedicated voice actors like Matsuzaka Tori and Somaya Shota, and directed by Iwaisawa Kenji, who has been awarded numerous prizes for his previous work Music, the film promises emotional depth and energy. Moreover, the theme song is an original piece by the popular band Official HIGE DANDISM, emphasizing the collaboration's vibrant essence.
