Japan's largest web manga service, Nico Nico Manga, operated by Dwango, has concluded its user-participation voting event known as the "3rd Manga Election," which took place from July 14 to 28, 2026. This year, the election received more than 120,000 votes, surpassing last year's totals, showcasing the enthusiasm of manga fans across the country.

The election divided into three exciting categories:

• - Tsuyotsuyo District
• - Ikimon District
• - Ojisan District

Each category comprised eight nominated titles with voters encouraged to select their favorites based on unique campaign strategies, including campaign slogans and posters created by the authors.

Celebrating the Winners
To honor the top works, a special campaign will also run from August 7 to August 14, 2026, where all chapters of the winning titles will be available for free.

Tsuyotsuyo District

In the Tsuyotsuyo District, the action-packed series Isekai Samurai took the lead, winning with a total of 21,327 points and 12,019 votes. The series, which began web serialization in February 2023, follows the tale of a legendary samurai who mysteriously finds himself in a different world, where he uses his unmatched skills to navigate through various challenges. This popular title is not only well-received by readers but has also garnered accolades including nominations for the "Next Manga Awards 2023" and "This Manga is Amazing! 2024." To celebrate its election victory, a special illustration by the author will be published alongside a free access campaign.
