In an exciting initiative to support earthquake relief efforts, the Tokyo Great Bears will kick off the "Tokyo Great Bears 2024-25 Charity Auction" on May 19, 2025. This charity auction is powered by HATTRICK Auction, a platform by Valuence Japan Co., Ltd.
About the Tokyo Great Bears
The Tokyo Great Bears are competing in the highest professional volleyball league in Japan, the Daito Life SV League, which commenced in October 2024. In just their third year, the team reached the championship, marking an impressive milestone. They've captured the hearts of fans by creating an entertaining atmosphere with enhanced production and sound during their home games, drawing in over 100,000 fans this season.
The Charity Auction
The charity auction will be divided into four phases, each featuring uniforms worn by the players. The first three phases will showcase player uniforms that fans can bid on starting from May 19, 2025. Additionally, for the fourth phase, original uniforms signed by special celebrity guests will be offered. This unique lineup offers fans a chance to own exclusive items linked to their favorite team and players.
The Tokyo Great Bears stated, "Volleyball is a sport where athletes from various nationalities and cultures come together, united by a shared goal. The earthquakes that struck Noto Peninsula on January 1, 2024, deeply impacted us, as did the torrential rain in September that further affected the region. Many people are still struggling in the aftermath, and we hope this auction brings support to those in need. Our motto is to connect through the power of volleyball beyond the court."
