Eyemart Express Partners with Military Makeover to Support Arizona Veteran's Journey

Eyemart Express Partners with "Military Makeover with Montel®"

In an inspiring collaboration, Eyemart Express, a prominent national optical retailer, is working alongside "Military Makeover with Montel®" to support Air Force veteran Matt Kosto and his family as they navigate life's challenges. The season premieres on Lifetime, underscoring the retailer's ongoing commitment to veterans and their families.

Supporting Veterans in Need

Matt Kosto, who dedicated 20 years of service in the Air Force, faced several hardships after leaving the military. Tragically, in 2021, he lost his right leg due to a motorcycle accident, which significantly hindered his recovery process. On top of this, his wife, Virginia, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, adding even more burdens to their lives.

In a dedicated episode of "Military Makeover with Montel®," scheduled to air on June 6, Eyemart Express will showcase how they played a pivotal role in enhancing the Kosto family’s quality of life. The episode captures the emotional moment when the Kosto family is surprised by Eyemart Express, receiving essential eye health services. This includes comprehensive eye exams and stylish new glasses that allow them to fully appreciate their home’s transformation and embrace a new chapter in their lives together.

A Commitment That Matters

Katy Hanson, Chief Marketing and Merchandising Officer of Eyemart Express, expressed her honor in affirming their support for veterans like Matt. “Following all that Matt has selflessly done for our country, it was a privilege to provide care to him and his family. We aim to extend the same level of commitment with our eye care services and same-day glasses,” she stated.

The sentiments were echoed by Jack Schwartz, Executive Vice President of Programming for "Military Makeover with Montel®." He noted that Eyemart Express not only provided glasses but also offered the Kosto family a renewed start in their eye health and a clearer perspective on life.
