Nikon Creators Challenge 2026: A New Era of Photography

Nikon Imaging Japan, a subsidiary of Nikon Corp., is thrilled to announce the renewal of the popular Instagram-based mini photo contest, the Nikon Creators Challenge. Launched in 2022, this initiative has allowed photography enthusiasts to share their creative works using Nikon products over 21 contests. The challenge is now revamped to include seasonal themes every four months, making it easier than ever to participate!

Aims of the Contest

The Nikon Creators Challenge aims to encourage all photographers using Nikon products to express their creativity and connect with the community. By introducing themed contests, Nikon aims to inspire participants to showcase their talents in unique ways, whether it's through the colors of the season, a moment of action, or the interplay between light and texture.

Contest Overview

The revamped contest will be segmented into three individual contests throughout 2026 and into early 2027:

• - Contest 22: April 28, 2026 – July 30, 2026

Theme: Colors

• - Contest 23: August 3, 2026 – November 30, 2026

Theme: The Moment

• - Contest 24: December 1, 2026 – March 31, 2027

Prizes and Opportunities

Out of all submissions, 10 talented individuals from each contest will be recognized as Nikon Creators 2026. Winners will receive a 30,000 yen voucher for Nikon Direct, which can be utilized for purchasing Nikon products. Additionally, participants will have an opportunity to borrow a Nikon mirrorless camera from the Z Series for free, enabling them to explore new creative avenues during the contest.

Selected entries will be showcased in 2027 at Nikon Plaza in Tokyo and Osaka, with expert evaluations by Nikon College instructors provided alongside the displayed works.
