LiuGong Showcases Electric and Integrated Solutions at CONEXPO 2026
LiuGong, a prominent name in construction machinery, made a significant impression at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 exhibition, presenting 13 cutting-edge machines from a variety of product lines under the motto "Tough Customers. Tough Equipment." Their display highlighted a commitment to addressing diverse construction challenges, ranging from urban building projects to large-scale mining and infrastructure endeavors.
Innovative Electric Machinery
Among the machines displayed, LiuGong introduced the 922FE zero-emission excavator and electric wheel loaders, 870HE and 820TE. These electric models are part of LiuGong’s expanding portfolio in the American market and are designed to substantially reduce operational costs by over 40%. This reduction is achieved through fewer moving parts, less reliance on technical fluids, and reduced maintenance requirements. The silent operation and immediate torque response are particularly suited for city construction, demolition, and public sector projects that impose strict emissions standards.
Electric equipment from LiuGong is already operational in more than 60 countries, with total sales exceeding 60,000 units. This reflects the company’s growth and commitment to environmentally friendly solutions that don’t compromise on performance.
Heavy-Duty Diesel Equipment
For rigorous tasks requiring high durability, LiuGong also showcased the 952F excavator and the 856T wheel loader, both equipped with Cummins Tier 4 Final / Stage V engines. These machines are engineered for mining and large infrastructure projects, where structural strength and uptime are critical in challenging and remote locations. Their robust design ensures they can handle even the toughest of jobs without fail.
Precision Engineering Machinery
The company also demonstrated high-precision machines, including the 4215D motor grader and 6608F road roller. These specialized designs offer exceptional profiling and soil compaction capabilities. The increased precision in leveling and integrated compaction technologies minimize the need for rework, allowing clients to stay on schedule and manage operational costs efficiently.
Integrated Equipment Ecosystem
Additionally, the TD16N bulldozer further enriches LiuGong’s portfolio in essential earthmoving categories. Standardized telematics and diagnostic systems enable unified monitoring and service support for various machine types, streamlining fleet management and after-sales service.
Engaging Customer Interaction
Beyond exhibiting machinery, LiuGong organized a series of podcasts titled "Tough Customer Talk" at their booth, where clients and dealers shared practical experiences with LiuGong equipment, discussing performance, reliability, and its impact on business outcomes. "Serious clients do not have time to navigate complexities," said Andrew Ryan, President of LiuGong North America. "They need one reliable partner throughout the project, from the first excavation to the final grading. Our aim is to deliver durable and efficient equipment, supported by a unified service network."
Building Value Through Collaboration
Prior to the CONEXPO, LiuGong North America hosted a two-day dealer conference, bringing local partners together to discuss industry trends and future growth strategies. Dealer representatives shared their market practices and success stories during this meaningful dialogue, strengthening partnerships and laying a solid foundation for market expansion.
On March 4, LiuGong and Cummins celebrated their 30 years of global collaboration. Currently, more than 300,000 LiuGong machines worldwide are powered by Cummins engines, marking an enduring partnership.
Commitment to the American Market
On March 2, LiuGong held a press conference attended by nearly 50 leading industry and national media outlets. LiuGong President Luo Guobing, VP Li Dongchun, and Andrew Ryan unveiled the company’s new strategic direction and addressed questions from journalists regarding industry trends and future development plans. By broadening its product range and engaging directly with customers, LiuGong reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the American market, intending to adapt its offerings to meet evolving job site needs, delivering reliable and comprehensive solutions for a wide array of tasks.
