YUNSUNG LEE's Debut Exhibition: "The Torso Panel"
Exhibition Dates: September 6 - October 13, 2025
Opening Hours: Weekdays 14:00-21:00, Weekends and Holidays 12:00-19:00
Closed: Mondays and Tuesdays
YUNSUNG LEE, a notable figure in the contemporary art scene from South Korea, will have his debut exhibition in Japan titled "The Torso Panel." After obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Chung-Ang University in Korea, LEE has creatively intertwined influences from subculture and comic culture experienced in his youth with Western art traditions.
In this exhibition, LEE presents a collection that connects his ongoing "Torso Series" with a unique take on comic paneling, focusing particularly on the spaces between the panels. This fresh series will showcase the interplay of images and emotions through varied forms, alongside other works that reinterpret the zodiac signs into cute SD (Super Deformed) characters and reinterpret the Laocoon myth through a manga lens.

Junwoo Park's First Exhibition: "Two Ways"
Exhibition Dates: September 27 - October 13, 2025
Opening Hours: Weekdays 14:00-21:00, Weekends and Holidays 12:00-19:00
Closed: Mondays and Tuesdays
Alongside YUNSUNG LEE, Junwoo Park will also present his first solo exhibition in Japan titled "Two Ways." This exhibition is particularly intriguing as it encapsulates two creative streams he has been developing since January 2025.
One stream consists of eight Zines, from which a series of paintings are derived. The second stream features sculptures and paintings inspired by natural forms like grass and stones, expressing emotions through wild forms that depict tears, anger, and faceless shapes. While these two themes may not directly relate, they collectively represent who Junwoo is as an artist today. The exhibition highlights an encounter between two worlds that have evolved in different directions, offering a fresh experience for viewers.
Opening Day Event:
On the opening day, Junwoo Park will be present, offering a rare chance to meet the artist. There will also be a silkscreen event featuring two types of illustrations inspired by his motifs. (Details will be announced later.)
Event Date: September 27, 13:00-15:00.
