Mission Bank Expands Services with New Office in North San Luis Obispo County
Mission Bank's Expansion into North San Luis Obispo County
Mission Bank is excited to announce the establishment of a new Loan and Deposit Production team located in North San Luis Obispo County, marking a significant expansion of its existing operations in the Central Coast region. Under the leadership of Mark Pearce, the team comprises experienced professionals including Relationship Managers Sarah Kramer and Katie Crocker, alongside Credit Analyst Lauren Pickard. This dedicated group will report to Ag Division Manager Rob Hallum and is set to focus on strengthening commercial and agricultural relationships in the area.
Mark Pearce brings over 30 years of experience in the commercial banking industry, and he expressed enthusiasm about joining Mission Bank's team, stating, "It’s great to be with a bank that is business-oriented and customer-focused. My approach to banking emphasizes building long-term relationships with customers, and Mission Bank shares that philosophy." The new office is expected to enhance customer service capabilities, allowing the bank to connect more effectively with local business owners and agricultural producers in the region.
Rob Hallum, Ag Division Manager, described the opportunity as tremendous, highlighting the bank's established relationships in the Central Coast and the additional resources now available to support local industries. "The Central Coast is filled with thriving businesses that are fundamental to the economy of San Luis Obispo County and beyond, and we are thrilled to offer them greater support," he remarked.
Mission Bank originally opened its doors in Bakersfield in 1998 and has grown significantly since, amassing $1.9 billion in assets with additional locations across California including Lancaster, San Luis Obispo, Shafter, Ventura, Visalia, and Westlake Village. President and CEO AJ Antongiovanni attributes the bank's growth and success to its unique culture and customer-centric approach.
Antongiovanni stated, "Our business model is centered around high-touch customer service that exists on a uniquely personal level. When customers call, they speak directly with our Relationship Managers and Business Bankers. We pride ourselves on lending relationships that are locally managed by teams who know their customers and their businesses intimately."
In addition to Pearce's leadership, the rest of the team also brings a wealth of experience to the table. Sarah Kramer has been in banking for over 20 years and holds a degree from Cal Poly. Recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Women in Business in the Central Coast, her expertise adds immense value to the team. Katie Crocker, a native of Templeton, California, also a Cal Poly graduate, has over two decades of experience in banking. Meanwhile, Lauren Pickard, with ten years in the San Luis Obispo banking sector, rounds out the team.
Despite the new office's impending establishment, the team is currently prepared to serve customers remotely, ensuring that clients receive the necessary support in a timely manner. This strategic expansion reaffirms Mission Bank’s commitment to meeting the needs of businesses in North San Luis Obispo County, enhancing its position as a premiere banking solution for local endeavors.
With an unwavering focus on building relationships and providing tailored services, Mission Bank is poised to make a significant impact in the community and support the growth of local industries.
