About the Anime 'Until a Witch Dies'

"Until a Witch Dies" tells the compelling story of Meg Raspberry, a 17-year-old novice witch who learns from her mentor, and one of the top seven sages of the magical world, Faust, that she has only one year left to live. This startling revelation arises from a curse known as the 'Death Proclamation.'

The only way to escape this cursed fate is to create the 'Seed of Life,' which bestows immortality upon the bearer. However, the ingredient required to create this miraculous seed is none other than pieces of emotions—specifically the joyful tears shed when a person is happy.

This leads Meg on a touching quest where she must gather a thousand tears to save herself. Throughout her journey, she interacts with various characters, including her childhood friend and bestie, Fiene; the wise witch and one of the seven sages, Inori; and a prodigy of her own age, Sophie, who is also among the seven sages with the title of 'Witch of Blessing'.

As Meg works towards collecting the tears, viewers will find themselves immersed in her emotional journey—a tale of miracles triggered by an unseasoned witch staring at a short-lived future.
