Rissho University Launches Open College for Lifelong Learning
Rissho University, located in Kumagaya City, Saitama, will commence its "Open College" program for the second semester of 2026 on October 3rd. This initiative aims to promote community engagement and support lifelong learning among local residents. The university, under the leadership of President Yoshinobu Kitamura, has curated a series of lectures featuring faculty members from its diverse academic departments.
The Open College will consist of five enriching sessions, each focusing on a different theme derived from a variety of disciplines. These lectures will not only reflect academic expertise but also connect these insights to relatable topics in everyday life. The program is free of charge, with prior registration required, and a lottery system will be in place for those wishing to attend.
