Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen's Charity Event Raises $1.3M for Alzheimer's Support

Laughter at the Forefront of Charity

On November 15, 2025, the renowned charity event 'Friendgiving' hosted by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen took place at Rolling Greens, in Downtown Los Angeles. This annual fundraiser, organized under Hilarity for Charity (HFC), is aimed at raising funds for Alzheimer's disease and supporting its caregivers. It was a glamorous night marked by laughter, camaraderie, and philanthropy, successfully raising an astounding $1.3 million for vital Alzheimer's brain health initiatives.

Hilarity for Charity has gained prominence since its inception in 2012, thanks to the personal experience of founder Lauren Miller Rogen, whose mother faced early-onset Alzheimer's disease. The organization has taken significant steps forward, providing resources and awareness programs to aid Alzheimer's families. The funds raised during 'Friendgiving' directly support HFC's mission to deliver essential resources for caregivers and promote brain health education.

Guests were treated to performances from various celebrities, including a special musical set by Hayley Williams, who shared her personal connection to the cause. “My mom's father died of this disease. It feels very personal to me to be able to use my voice tonight to support HFC's passion and efforts,” Williams stated.

The star-studded guest list included a wide range of notable figures, such as Kumail Nanjiani and Tig Notaro, who also entertained with comedic performances, and many others, all coming together to contribute to this noble cause. The atmosphere was filled with interactive experiences and games, transforming the evening into a celebration of philanthropy and awareness surrounding Alzheimer's disease.

Seth and Lauren shared their appreciation for all attendees and sponsors, which play an instrumental role in the capacity to continue their work. “Our donors, friends, and supporters remind us every day that we’re not in this fight alone. With this community behind us, we feel energized to keep pushing forward,” they expressed.

In total, since its inception, Hilarity for Charity has successfully raised over $28 million and provided more than half a million hours of in-home care for families impacted by Alzheimer's. The organization is dedicated to not only supporting current Alzheimer’s caregivers but also educating future generations about the disease.

As the night closed, the sense of community was palpable, uniting so many who have been affected by Alzheimer's and demonstrating the power of laughter and unity in combating such a challenging condition. This year’s 'Friendgiving' has undoubtedly set the stage for future events and collaborations aimed at continuing the journey to support and advocate for Alzheimer's families everywhere.
