Collabo Style Expands with New Tokyo Office

The relocation to the Yaesu Building comes against a backdrop of expanding importance in the Tokyo area. Collabo Style originally launched its Tokyo presence in a small office near Kanda Jimbocho Station and has gradually moved up through various WeWork locations, fostering relationships with clients and partners along the way.

In 2019, the company initiated a headquarter relocation project to address the risks of concentrating business in Tokyo and reassessing office environments. The headquarters now resides in the highly connective JP Tower Nagoya. This strategic move saw the workforce multiply nearly fourfold and client base exceed 2,000—thanks in part to a commitment to promoting flexible workstyles while valuing opportunities for genuine face-to-face interactions.

The upcoming Tokyo move aims to continue this momentum, in line with the increase in customer and partner presence in the area, along with an enhanced organizational foundation that reflects changing work habits. The new Tokyo office will feature a community space named "Collabo Base TOKYO," blending the lessons learned from the Nagoya office's community space to encourage spontaneous interactions, collaborations, and the sharing of ideas in a comfortable setting.

1. Prime Location That Embodies Trust and Forward Thinking
The new office's location in the Yaesu Building—a high-spec building with a distinguished stone facade—embodies qualities of trust and forward-thinking that Collabo Style aims to project. This ease of access will not be just about physical location, but a foundational element of trusting relationships.

2. Creating Spaces That Foster Interaction
Almost half of the new office space will be dedicated to the community area, "Collabo Base TOKYO." With a bar counter manned by a community manager, this area invites members, clients, and partners to interact freely. The event space, equipped with a 100-inch monitor, will host various communication events, including user meetings, partner meetings, and study sessions, fostering new connections.

3. An Office Crafted by Employees
Uniquely, the design and construction of the new office were spearheaded by the company’s Work Style Division as part of employee training, blending innovation with practical execution. Engaging workshops allowed employees to contribute by assembling shelves and desks, cultivating affection and ownership over their workspace—transforming it into a space not merely given but built by them.
