Huasun Energy and Next2Sun's Exclusive Partnership

Huasun Energy, recognized as the largest producer of Heterojunction Solar Products (HJT) globally, has recently locked in a strategic partnership with Next2Sun, a leading German innovation firm in the realm of vertical bifacial photovoltaic (PV) technology. This agreement signifies a pivotal advancement in the field of vertical PV, established during the vibrant Intersolar Europe 2025 event.

The collaboration aims to fuse Huasun’s advanced Kunlun series HJT modules with Next2Sun’s proven system designs, broadening the scope of vertical PV projects across Europe. Vertical PV systems present a compelling solution for maximizing land use, especially in conjunction with agricultural activities, infrastructure, and transport corridors. Notably, these systems are calibrated to align with morning and evening energy demands, enhancing grid compatibility with dual peak power generation profiles.

Huasun’s technology, with its nearly 100% bifaciality, is particularly suited for vertical applications. It showcases features such as bifacial light conversion films, anti-reflective coated glass, and optimally positioned junction boxes. These advantages lead to a forecasted internal rate of return (IRR) of 15.1% for dealer revenues in locations like Munich, Germany—positioning vertical PV projects as exceptionally attractive investments.

The Kunlun series is tailored to meet diverse market needs, and includes versatile options such as G12-132 and G12R-132 modules optimized for portrait installations along with G12R-120 and G12R-108 modules available in both framed and frameless designs for landscape configurations.
