Doosan Robotics Expands European Operations

Doosan Robotics has officially expanded its European branch in Frankfurt, Germany, a strategic move aimed at advancing its growth trajectory in the European market. The grand opening ceremony, which took place on May 19, welcomed around 200 guests, including key European partners, existing and potential customers, robotics organizations, and local media representatives.

This expansion underscores Doosan Robotics' commitment to establishing a robust foothold in Europe. Since the establishment of its European subsidiary in 2024, the company has formed alliances with key system integrators and distributors across major European markets, including Germany, France, and the Netherlands. The revamped office in Frankfurt symbolizes a significant milestone in Doosan Robotics' European growth strategy, helping to enhance local support and training capabilities.

The newly expanded facility is designed to improve local repair and service capabilities, enabling faster responses to customer inquiries and issues. With an increased local inventory of spare parts and repair equipment, Doosan Robotics aims to optimize response times. In instances where customers face operational downtime due to robotic issues, the company is prepared to deploy replacement robots immediately to minimize disruption and address client concerns promptly.

To further enrich customer engagement, Doosan Robotics will offer a variety of training programs, tailored to different skill levels. These courses, ranging from beginner to advanced levels, will be conducted at least twice a month, equipping customers and system integrators with essential knowledge. Furthermore, a new “Live Repair” training program will provide participants with hands-on experience, allowing them to dismantle and repair actual products. This initiative aims to bolster practical technical skills, enhance training satisfaction, and strengthen long-term relationships with clients.

During the opening ceremony, Doosan Robotics showcased several commercial robotic solutions, including palletizing systems for organizing and stacking items, handling systems for loading and unloading parts, vision-based pick-and-place systems, and a cocktail preparation solution. The newly established showroom at the Frankfurt office will allow potential customers to experience these robotic solutions firsthand, bolstering the company’s sales capabilities in the European market.

In addition to the sales enhancement, Doosan Robotics Europe will set up an Application Center where clients can work directly with European subsidiary engineers to develop customized robotic solutions. This move aims to foster innovation and tailor offerings to meet unique customer requirements.
