The deployment of Skydio Docks at these airbases allows for rapid, fully remote operations. This cutting-edge technology allows a single operator to manage multiple drones simultaneously, thereby providing a comprehensive overview of security conditions across the base while minimizing the need for extensive personnel.

When integrated sensors detect a threat, drones can be dispatched instantly, streaming real-time high-definition footage along with thermal imaging back to the Base Defense Operations Center (BDOC). The Skydio X10D drones have already earned a reputation as the most widely deployed Group 1 Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) used by USAF Security Forces. These drones have been chosen as the preferred small UAS for specialized Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) operators and PACAF Security Forces, reflecting their operational reliability and effectiveness. This new order from USAFCENT marks a significant expansion of Skydio’s footprint, applying their innovative autonomous dock technology to the critical domain of overseas force protection for the first time.
