West Desert Motorsports Campus Reopens Amid Exciting Transformations

The West Desert Motorsports Campus, formerly known as Utah Motorsports Campus, has officially celebrated its grand reopening on September 19, 2026. This momentous occasion marks the evolution of the facility after two decades, with new ownership under PV3 Enterprises, a Utah-based investment group committed to revitalizing this iconic venue.

Nestled just 30 minutes from Salt Lake City, the vast 511-acre campus is notable for its extensive racing facilities, which include one of the longest front straights in the country measuring 0.7 miles, a 4.5-mile road course designed for safety, and a 0.9-mile competitive karting track. The venue also features off-road facilities, a skidpad, grandstands, and ample event space to accommodate various racing events and gatherings.

Mark Hancock, Managing Partner at PV3 Enterprises, stated, "This venue has experienced many changes over the years. As we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the original opening of Miller Motorsports Park, we're excited to enter a new chapter as West Desert."

With an impressive investment surpassing $50 million, PV3 Enterprises has dedicated significant resources to enhancing the facilities. Joe Atkin, the General Manager of West Desert, elaborated on the vision for the campus: “We are committed to establishing West Desert as a respected national motorsports center prioritizing innovation, performance, and community involvement.
