Celebrating Tadanori Yokoo: A Special Exhibition in Ginza

From November 11 to 23, 2025, Ginza Morioka Bookstore will hold a remarkable exhibition and sales event, highlighting the works of the renowned artist Tadanori Yokoo. This event will focus on three unique releases: 'TADANORI YOKOO Masterworks 1960s-70s', 'My Y Cross Road Painting', and 'Photographs with My Y Cross Road'. The entire exhibition runs from November 11 (Tuesday) to November 23 (Sunday), with a break on November 17 (Monday). The opening hours are from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Morioka Bookstore, located at 1-28-15 Suzuki Building, Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.

The exhibition will be divided into two separate weeks, each dedicated to a different book and associated artworks.

Week 1: 'TADANORI YOKOO Masterworks 1960s-70s'

- Featured Book: 'TADANORI YOKOO Masterworks 1960s-70s' showcases select works from Yokoo's early career in the 1960s and 70s. This unique book, printed in a special A2 size and limited to 300 signed copies, encapsulates Yokoo's creative genius.
- Exhibited Artworks: Three offset posters titled 'TADANORI YOKOO', 'Koshi-maki Osen', and 'Galmera Shokai' will be displayed. Notably, the posters 'Koshi-maki Osen' and 'Galmera Shokai' will be available for purchase, complete with Yokoo's signature.

Week 2: 'My Y Cross Road Painting' and 'Photographs with My Y Cross Road'

- Featured Books: 'My Y Cross Road Painting' is a captivating collection that explores the allure of Y Cross Roads, containing over 120 selected works by Yokoo. In tandem, 'Photographs with My Y Cross Road' offers a unique photographic perspective on the theme.
