Starting on October 25, 2025, the renowned restaurant Series the Sky, located on the 31st floor of Tokyo Skytree, will launch the Ultimate Chinese Dim Sum Buffet. This exciting dining experience combines breathtaking views from 150 meters above ground with an extensive menu, crafted by master chefs, that promises a luxurious and memorable meal.

At Series the Sky, diners can enjoy an unforgettable affair that begins with meticulously prepared dim sum and delightful fusion dishes reflective of its Michelin-starred sister restaurant. From appetizers to delectable dishes like Peking Duck, guests will savor a range of culinary delights.

The buffet features various options such as:

• - Amuse-bouche: Today's special, Yamanashi's Shinshu Chicken Wing wrapped in foie gras, black truffle soup dumplings, and porcini shumai.
• - Steamed Dim Sum: Shanghai soup dumplings, fish and pea sprouts dumplings, shark fin dumplings, and homemade pork buns.
• - Fried Dim Sum: Fried soup dumplings, XO sauce radish cake, and wagyu spring rolls.
• - Signature Dishes: Creamy laksa prawns, sweet mango mayonnaise prawns, stir-fried garlic water spinach, and mala tofu.
• - Noodles and Rice: Prawn wonton noodles, Series' special dan dan noodles, and fried rice with autumn salmon and Fukien seaweed.

Meet Executive Chef Yuki Kaneko

Yuki Kaneko, the executive chef behind Series the Sky, graduated from the oldest existing Chinese restaurant, Heichinrou, after attending Abeno Tsuji Culinary School. He gained refined culinary techniques at the Michelin one-star restaurant SENSE in Mandarin Oriental Tokyo. After a successful tenure as head chef at several Tokyo restaurants, he became the culinary leader at Series, earning a Michelin star within just eight months of its opening. He has continued to maintain this excellence for six consecutive years. In April 2023, he opened Series the Sky, further establishing his reputation in Tokyo’s culinary scene.
