Reimagined Parking Welcomes Jeff Eckerling to Its Board
Reimagined Parking, a leader in tech-driven parking solutions, has recently appointed Jeff Eckerling as an independent member of its Board of Directors. This strategic addition is expected to bolster the company’s growth and innovation efforts as they work to enhance their presence in the parking industry.
Jeff Eckerling comes with a wealth of experience in driving growth across diverse sectors. His most recent position was as Chief Growth Officer at SP Plus, a publicly traded company. In this role, he successfully spearheaded a digital transformation strategy, executed strategic acquisitions, and played a crucial role in the company's profitable sale. His ability to navigate the evolving digital landscape will be invaluable as Reimagined Parking continues to innovate.
Before his tenure at SP Plus, Eckerling was the CEO of two e-commerce businesses, both of which he turned into successful enterprises before selling. His extensive background also includes over two decades in the startup ecosystem, having been part of the pre-launch team at Orbitz. His insights and hands-on experience with startups help him support and guide businesses at various stages of their growth.
Earlier in his career, Eckerling worked at Ernst & Young LLP in Chicago, where he gained foundational experience as an accountant and consultant. As a Certified Public Accountant and an alumnus of Tulane University's A.B. Freeman School of Business, Jeff's educational background complements his extensive professional experience.
The decision to bring Eckerling onto the board has been met with enthusiasm from current board members. Hitesh Kumar, a Senior Portfolio Manager at Orchard Global Asset Management, expressed excitement about Eckerling's arrival, noting that his industry expertise and operational acumen will be key as the company continues on its path of growth and innovation. “We are thrilled to welcome Jeff to our Board. His deep industry knowledge, operational expertise, and M&A experience—combined with his proven ability to lead digital transformation—will be invaluable as we continue to innovate and grow,” Kumar said.
Reimagined Parking operates a multitude of nationally recognized companies such as Impark, Lanier, Republic Parking, AmeriPark, and Park One. The organization boasts a workforce of over 6,600 employees, managing upwards of 2,500 high-density parking facilities across more than 275 cities in North America. The company is responsible for processing approximately 34 million digital transactions annually, serving a diverse clientele that includes commercial real estate, retail, hospitality, airports, events, healthcare, municipal sectors, and educational institutions.
With Eckerling on board, Reimagined Parking is well-positioned to further enhance its operational capabilities and embrace innovative solutions that meet evolving consumer needs in the parking space.
