YAMAGIWA Lighting 2025-2026: A Comprehensive Collection
The renowned lighting company, YAMAGIWA, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, has officially announced the release of its comprehensive lighting catalog, "YAMAGIWA LIGHTING 2025-2026," on June 1, 2025. This catalog has been meticulously curated to showcase the creative possibilities in spatial design through a rich selection of unique lighting solutions from Japan and around the world.
A Rich Array of Products
The new catalog features an impressive total of
3,018 items, including
229 new products that broaden the horizons of ambient creation. From innovative lighting fixtures to contemporary furniture pieces, YAMAGIWA continues to lead the lighting industry with original designs that fulfill the diverse needs of modern spaces.
A Captivating Cover Design
The cover of the catalog is designed once again by the talented
Haruka Misawa, who draws inspiration from YAMAGIWA's very own lighting fixture,
TWILIGHT. The design encapsulates the enchanting scene of the sun setting on the horizon, casting a soft and dim light typical of twilight hours. Inspired by the transparent thread-like glass fibers that compose the TWILIGHT, the cover artwork visualizes this phenomenon beautifully, depicting the interplay of light as it scatters and forms multiple arcs.
Haruka Misawa's artistic vision reflects the calm and shifting hues of twilight—an evocative representation that connects the essence of the product with the breathtaking beauty of nature.
Concept Behind the Design
The design concept revolves around the essence of the TWILIGHT lighting fixture itself. The theme draws upon the stunning optical effects created when light interacts with glass fibers, emphasizing the aesthetic and emotional value that light brings to our spaces. Misawa creatively expresses the subtle yet dynamic color gradients found during twilight through layered ink particles, thereby bridging the product and its surroundings into a cohesive visual narrative.
