TVA and Plus Power Join Forces



The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has entered into a significant 20-year Energy Storage Agreement with Houston-based Plus Power, aimed at adding an impressive capacity of 200 megawatts (MW) of battery energy storage to the Tennessee Valley. Through this competitive process, Plus Power's project in Jackson County, Alabama, was chosen for its potential to bolster energy security across the region.
