Zoomlion Expands Its European Operations

In a significant move to enhance its presence in Europe, Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Co., Ltd. is actively reinforcing its local operations through improved collaboration in services, production, and technology. This initiative is the result of a recent partners' meeting held on August 19 at Zoomlion's facility in Germany, followed by a visit to its German subsidiary, m-tec.

During the gathering, stakeholders from various European nations discussed key topics such as market development, product offerings, and local activities. The feedback highlighted Zoomlion's advancements in product quality and technological capabilities while emphasizing the need for long-term service capacities, spare parts supply, and product range expansion. Zhan Chunxin, Zoomlion's CEO, acknowledged these priorities, reiterating the strategic importance of the European market and the company's commitment to long-term localized operations.

To foster growth, Zoomlion plans to develop its European spare parts and after-sales service networks. This will enhance response times and the availability of critical components. Moreover, the company aims to establish a digital service platform for its clients, facilitating automatic assignment of maintenance tasks and tracking through the process. Clients will benefit from easier access to information pertaining to their equipment, spare parts, and associated services.

In line with this expansion strategy, Zoomlion intends to roll out new products and technologies while broadening its portfolio to respond effectively to local market demands. On August 25, Zhan visited m-tec’s production and R&D sites in Germany. During this visit, he reviewed the subsidiary’s technological and development activities, particularly focusing on advancements related to 3D printing. He highlighted that Zoomlion's support for m-tec will leverage the group’s global market presence, R&D capabilities, and financial resources. Enhanced collaboration in technology, products, and market development is on the agenda, positioning m-tec as a crucial asset in Zoomlion's European localization strategy.

Since its acquisition by Zoomlion in 2014, m-tec has fortified its expertise in ready-mix mortar machines and construction materials. By collaborating closely with Zoomlion, it has optimized technological, commercial, and product strategies.

Furthermore, Zoomlion has established strong sales, after-sales, financing, and manufacturing capabilities across Europe. With local production facilities, including CIFA in Italy, m-tec, WILBERT, and RABE in Germany, and its aerial work platform factory in Hungary, the company is strategically positioned to integrate production capabilities, technical expertise, human resources, and customer service directly into the European markets.
