As the year comes to a close, many families seek to enjoy a cozy celebration at home or want to elevate their holiday feasts with a touch of luxury. Recognizing this, Gotanda Sushi Asahi is proud to announce its exclusive takeout offerings for the New Year season, available through advance booking only.

• - Reservation Period: Until December 29, (Monday)
• - Pickup Dates: December 31 (Wednesday) / January 1 (Thursday)
• - Pickup Time: 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• - Pickup Location: Gotanda Sushi Asahi
• - Reservation Method: Takeout Reservations

Due to limited quantities, reservations will close once the set number is filled, so it is highly recommended to book early!

New Year Special Takeout Menu

1. Exquisite New Year's Sushi Assortment - ¥11,000 (tax included)
Featuring high-end ingredients like Kani (snow crab) and Kuruma Ebi (sweet shrimp), this luxurious platter includes 18 pieces of sushi, handcrafted by skilled artisans, along with special maki rolls. Perfect for family gatherings, it's a feast that brings everyone together. Please note that changes to the menu items are not accepted.

2. Chirashi Sushi - ¥5,500 (tax included)
A vibrant assortment filled with the same sushi toppings, ideal as a treat for yourself or for a special home dining experience.

3. Large Chirashi Sushi - ¥6,500 (tax included)
An abundant version of the chirashi, suitable for sharing among family or satisfying the appetites of growing children.

4. Fluffy Steamed Anago Donburi - ¥5,000 (tax included)
Generously topped with tender anago (sea eel), this dish combines the sweetness of the simmer sauce with red vinegar rice, making it a must-try for anago lovers.

Please be aware that menu changes cannot be accommodated.

Gotanda Sushi Asahi will continue to serve its beloved sushi and sake during the New Year. Here’s our operating schedule:

• - December 31 (Wednesday): Open until 10:00 PM (last seating at 7:00 PM)
• - January 1 (Thursday): Regular Hours 11:30 AM - 11:30 PM

Every year, we experience high demand for reservations during this festive season, often reaching full capacity. To ensure a spot, we strongly encourage early bookings.

• - Omakase Course (20 Dishes): ¥8,800 (tax included)
• - Omakase Course with Premium Sake Pairing (20 Dishes): ¥14,300 (tax included)
• - December-Only Premium Omakase (22 Dishes with 6 Luxury Ingredients): ¥14,500 (tax included)
• - December-Only Premium Omakase with Sake Pairing: ¥20,000 (tax included)

Special Sake Plans

Alongside your culinary choices, we offer a selection of special sake pairings that complement our dishes beautifully. Here are some options:

• - Single Type Junmai Daiginjo Pairing Plan (Includes a Toast):

For ¥6,500, enjoy a guaranteed serving of Junmai Daiginjo along with a toast drink (60ml). Note that the type of sake cannot be chosen, as it’ll be a surprise. Limited to 30 guests.
