Global Link Management Receives Three-Star Rating for Women's Empowerment
Global Link Management, located in Shibuya, Tokyo, has recently been awarded the top three-star rating under the Eruboshi certification system. This recognition acknowledges the company's exemplary efforts in promoting women's participation within the workplace. The award is granted based on five evaluation criteria: recruitment practices, continuous employment, work-life balance, management representation, and diverse career routes.
Understanding the Eruboshi Certification
The Eruboshi certification system is established under the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace. It is overseen by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, which recognizes companies with outstanding initiatives in enhancing women's roles in business. The system employs a three-tier approach to evaluation, allowing certified businesses to use the Eruboshi mark as a testament to their commitment to gender diversity. Consequently, firms can improve their image as inclusive workplaces and attract exceptional talent across various fields.
Achieving the Top Standard
Global Link Management has consistently emphasized the importance of diversity and inclusion (D&I) as key elements for organizational growth and sustainability. The company has undertaken several initiatives to cultivate an environment where women and diverse talents can thrive, such as implementing equitable evaluation and compensation systems.
Some of the innovative measures put in place include:
- - Development of Action Plans: The company has created general business action plans focused on facilitating women's career growth and fostering a supportive work culture.
- - Leadership Training: GLM has introduced programs to support women’s career development through leadership training.
- - Work-Life Support: They have established consultation desks to aid employees balancing work with childbirth and childcare responsibilities.
