LEXUS MEETS..., located on the first floor of Tokyo Midtown Hibiya, is set to offer a limited-time menu featuring the exquisite flavors of Chino City in Nagano Prefecture. Starting April 11, 2025, the café will present a collaboration titled "Toyota x Michi Selection," showcasing the region's unique culinary heritage.

This latest addition to the series celebrates the vibrant connections between the local communities and their culinary masterpieces. The collaboration coincides with the Toyota Motorsports event "Rally Challenge," highlighting Chino City's rich natural resources and cultural heritage.

The star of the menu is a two-layer walnut nougat glacé that combines the local food culture known as "shimi" with the regional dish "ten-yose." Made with walnuts sourced directly from Chino, the nougat is paired with locally produced benten (tough agar jelly) and apple confiture, resulting in a dish that encapsulates the traditional flavors of Chino City. The dish is served alongside a traditional preserved food called "kori-mochi," which, when shaved, enhances the dish's earthiness and connection to the region.

Additionally, guests can indulge in a subtly salted muffin made with Shinshu miso and buckwheat flour that complements the sweetness of the nougat.

At MEETS KIOSK inside the café, visitors can purchase local specialties, deepening their connection to the area through these culinary delights. Some of the offerings include:

• - Tenpo’s Kugohei Mochi - 480 yen: Bite-sized mochi sprinkled with ice flour featuring four flavors—mugwort, sakura, chestnut, and walnut, crafted without additives, showcasing natural deliciousness.
• - Chirks' Pouch Dishes - 720 yen: Featuring stewed hamburgers made from tomatoes grown in Chino, focused on health with a commitment to additive-free recipes.
• - Kurumi Karen - 270 yen: A renowned confection of nougat packed with rich walnuts baked in cookie dough.
• - Apple Juice - 400 yen: Fresh juice from Shinano Sweet apples grown in a three-generation orchard, offering a refreshing taste with rich sweetness.
